Dr. John Francis Faustorilla has introduced courses as breakthrough course implementations among Deans of Colleges of Nursing throughout the Philippines. The Basic Informatics Nursing Course and the Business Aspects in Healthcare Informatics Course are prototypes that are pioneered in the country to jumpstart professionals in the implementation of these courses through an Online Learning format.

Nursing Informatics is one of the courses that are implemented among Nursing Schools based on the CHED Memorandum Order 15. There is a dire need to cover competencies for students to be prepared with the necessary demands of the industry upon graduation.

Nursing Entrepreneurship is one of the disruptive innovations that the Nursing Schools can utilize to introduce the mindset of having students become prepared with putting up their own business ventures.
